I just happened to stumble upon this forum.  There's a pretty large Vallely family in the St. Louis metro area in Missouri.  I'm the son of Dennis Francis Vallely, born 03/05/1946 and died 09/08/2006; grandson of Clarence Vallely, born 06/1917 and died 04/1994.  I'm certain my grandfather was born in Ohio...perhaps Akron.  My father, I believe, was born in either East St. Louis, IL or St. Louis, MO.  Before moving to St. Louis, they had lived on the east side in IL.  Clarence wed Dorothy Mothershead (born 02/1920; died 06/2003) in Ohio in 1940 or 1941; this was Clarence's 2nd marriage.  He was married for a short while before marrying Dorothy and had a son, Michael Vallely - I believe he currently resides in Michigan, and has two sons...one is named Quinn.  I'm not sure of the other son's name.  Clarence and Dorothy had 6 children...William, Linda, Dennis, Diane, Judith, Deborah and Tamara...all of whom are living.  All but one currently live in the St. Louis area.  My father, Dennis Vallely, married Nicolette Schone (my mother) in 1968, from which he has three children - me (Richard Sterling in 1969) and my two sisters, Elizabeth Jolene in 1970 and Patricia Kathleen in 1974 - both now married; I have never married and have no children.  Nicolette divorced Dennis in 1990, and Dennis remarried within a couple months.  He married Deborah Reeves in 1990, and had one son, Curtis Andrew, who was born in 1990.  My father Dennis was a Vietnam War veteran; serving in the U.S. Army from 1965-1968, and again from 1971-1979.  Wow, that's a lot of information.  But, it's nice to see there are other Vallelys out there.  I knew of Paul Vallely from Fox News, James Vallely from Hollywood television making and Mike Vallely, the skateboarder.  But, other than that, I've never run across another Vallely...especially not in person.  Would like to hear from other Vallelys out there.  Happy Easter, everyone!
